What is Pitch?
The term pitch is commonly used in the LED industry, but it is often a confusing concept to many people. Pitch is LED terminology for resolution. The pitch of an LED display refers to how far apart the LED pixels are from one another. For example a 10mm pitch indicates that there is a distance of 10mm from pixel to pixel. For this reason a LOWER pitch indicates a HIGHER resolution.
Simply put a 10mm LED display has a LOWER pitch than a 15mm LED. Therefore the 10mm has a HIGHER resolution. The text and images on a 10mm display will look brighter and crisper.
