The combo is the ideal solution for both retrofits and new signage. Several requests for retrofits involve an existing sign that has an upper header and a lower readerboard. In attempts to lessen costs many customers have tried removing just the reader board and replacing it with a similarly sized LED display.
However, what we’ve found time and time again are multiple issues in matching sizes, installing properly and creating an aesthetically pleasing result. Oftentimes the LED boards are not the exact same dimensions of the existing readerboard. This forces installers to block out the sides and these challenges make installation more difficult and costly. Furthermore we’ve often seen that the final result may not look as refined as customers had anticipated.
The combo is one seamless unit which houses both the lightbox and the LED display. This makes for a beautiful sign which does not look like a retrofit. Furthermore, the combo allows for very quick installations. The installer also removes the hassle of sizing. Installers can simply remove the entirety of the existing sign and replace it with one new unit.
