A Look at Video Walls

The term video wall is highly used today, but what does it really refer to? For large screens there are mainly two options that both residential and commercial consumers are met with: join multiple LCD / LED TV panels or join LED display modules.

LCD or LED TVs are traditional panels that all of us have seen and are familiar with. These TVs are often joined in order to create large video walls, but the everlasting issue are bezels around the panel edges. These grids visually disturb the content being displayed on the screen.

Despite this flaw TV walls have traditionally been used because there was no better alternative. However, we are now seeing huge advancements in LED technology. Each year developers are releasing higher resolution LED panels. Currently the highest resolution display has a pitch of less than 1mm. The resulting display quality is similar to the premium visual delivered by a QLED TV.

The biggest advantage of LED display modules is the absence of any type of division on the video wall. LED modules allow for massive sizes in various shapes and configurations as well. These combined advantages are driving the increased use of LED display modules in large scale video walls.

The led module system is the most ideal option for buyers in need of maximum size and impact, but always pay attention to the pitch and accessibility. It’s critical that you select the proper resolution and ensure ease of access for any repairs. Addressing these details will create a much better experience for both buyers and viewers.
